Mr. Sacca born in

1961 grew up in
Amman

Beirut
, and then graduated from
University
of
Jordan
in 1983 having a B.Sc. in Computer Science with First Honor Degree. While studying he worked as a part-time computer programmer in Petra Bank then at SALCO Enterprises. Coming from a commercial background, and upon graduation, he established his own software company named then ‘
Computer
Software
Center
’.
Since 1983, he has been involved in the development and provision of turn-key projects in the IT field to small and medium businesses, manufacturing companies, and large scale organizations. The projects managed and handled by Mr. Sacca covered consultancy, feasibility studies, software development, data base management, biometrics, optical technology, LAN & WAN layout / setup, and IT Training Solutions.
Mr. Sacca was selected as the local consultant to work with International experts on the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) project, to transform ACC from a traditional chamber of commerce to a leading e-Chamber using the web as an active tool to serve its members, and integrate with other e-government projects currently being implemented in
Jordan
.
Mr. Sacca joined The
Jordan Computer Society
JCS on 21/12/1986 as a fellow-member, and served as Treasurer for the terms 1992-1994 & 1994-1996, then became JCS Vice President for the term 1998-2000, to become JCS Chairman from 2000 till 2004. He was an active member of the team which developed the REACH Initiative in 1999 The National IT Strategy of Jordan for the next 5 years.
Mr. Sacca was appointed in 2000, as head of the Private Sector Advisory Board to
Princess
Sumaya
University
, working on enhancing the quality of graduates to meet market demands. Mr. Sacca was also selected to be a member of the Reach Advisory Council 2000-2002. He is a member of the UK-Jordan IT Get-Connected Initiative Steering Committee. He also served on several committees working on ICT & Investment development in
Jordan
.
